ST. SEBASTIAN’S BY THE SEA WELCOMES NEW RECTOR

The Rev. Norman Desrosiers

Begins New Ministry On May 1

St. Sebastian’s By The Sea Episcopal Church of Melbourne Beach has called The Rev. Norman Desrosiers to become their new rector. Father Desrosiers comes with over 30 years of clergy experience both in parish work and as a military chaplain. He was ordained in Massachusetts and has since traveled the world with his ministry. He retired from active duty as the Wing Chaplain at Patrick AFB in 2006 and at that time began a six-year ministry with Holy Apostles Episcopal Church in Satellite Beach.

Father Norman is married to the former Barbara Stedman of New Jersey. They reside in Melbourne where Barbara spends her time in her art studio. The Desrosiers have two grown daughters, Kimberly and Caroline.

Father Desrosiers‘ first service at St. Sebastian’s will be a joint service on Sunday, May 6th at 9 AM. The Celebration of New Ministry service with The Rt. Rev. Gregory O. Brewer officiating will be on June 10 at 5 in the evening.

Both St. Sebastian’s parish and Fr. Norman look forward to a long and fruitful ministry together.
